Canada Occupation Demand List 2020

Canada has always been more welcoming to the immigrants that are having work experience in occupations that are in high demand in the country. Being the most sought after country for the immigrants who are looking for better career growth opportunities, Canada immigration is one of the most simpler and easier immigration processes in the world.

Having a point-based immigration process allows Canada to invite only the immigrants with high qualifications and skill-sets that can help in meeting the demands of the labour market in the country.

Here on this page, we will be discussing the following topics to understand occupations that are in high demand in Canada:

Canada Occupation demand list

Canada releases a list of occupations in the regular time of interval, that are facing the shortage of skilled candidates in the local labour market. Any skilled immigrant who is having the required work experience in the in-demand occupations are selected for the PR Visa process.

To facilitate more skilled immigrants in Canada, the Federal government of Canada has multi-year immigration to increase the admission rate of skilled immigrants through various economic immigration programs like Express entry program, Provincial Nominee Program, etc.

The selection criteria of these immigration programs mainly depend on the candidate’s credentials like age, language proficiency, educational qualifications, etc.

Occupation in-demand allows the immigrants to apply for Canada PR Visa without any job-offer. Candidates are only required to have work experience in occupations that are facing the shortage of skilled labour.

What is NOC?

National Occupation Classification – NOC, is used by the Canadian government to provide a structure for analysis and assessment of occupation in Canada. It is a four-digit code and job description for every occupation in labour market. A nationally recognized system, Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) uses to evaluate candidate’s work experience

The first digit in NOC code signifies Skill Type of occupation:

NOC OCCUPATION SKILL TYPE

Awesome Team Support !

AP Immigration Pvt. Ltd. is the first sincere immigration company with meticulous and conversant team. For my case I have ran through all the big Immigration companies in the market but was not satisfied with the counselings itself, but when Mr. Manish gave me the counselling, he gave me so much information and that too in a layman’s language which helped me gain confidence in the company. Once I registered myself with them I was allotted a case manager who gave me all the information on prior hand about what would be the process and how will it go through. I am very happy that I went by the services provided and not by the big brand names. Thank you all for your help in getting my visa approval. Thank you so so much Manish
